Short answer. AIRPORTELs moves luggage between Thai provinces so you do not have to carry it on the train, the bus or the plane. Book online, we collect from your hotel, airport counter or branch, and the bag is delivered in the destination province. Nationwide delivery arrives within 5 days, main routes faster, and the price is quoted at booking by route and size.

Crossing provinces in Thailand is cheap and frequent. Doing it with two suitcases is neither. A domestic flight charges for the hold; an overnight bus gives you a luggage bay you cannot see; a train has racks that fill by the third stop. The bag is the part of the trip that makes the rest of it worse, and it is the part that does not need you in order to travel.

What intercity luggage delivery actually is

It is a courier service for the thing you would otherwise drag. You tell us where the bag starts and where it should end up, we collect it, and it travels separately from you. You get on the flight, the bus or the train with a day pack, and the suitcase meets you at the other end.

The pickup point can be a hotel, one of our 20 staffed branches, or either Bangkok airport counter – Suvarnabhumi on B floor in the Airport Rail Link zone, Don Mueang at Terminal 2 by Gate 9, both open 24 hours. The delivery point works the same way: a hotel in the destination province, a branch, or an airport counter.

Which routes it covers

Bangkok is the hub, and the corridors that run most often are Bangkok to and from Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Samui. Delivery beyond those corridors is still nationwide – the difference is how quickly it arrives, not whether it can go.

How to read the timing: “within 5 days” is the commitment for anywhere in Thailand. The main corridors above usually beat it. The exact window for your route and dates is confirmed when you book, which is the number worth planning around – not the general one.

What it costs, and why we do not print one number

Intercity forwarding is quoted at booking, by route and by size. A suitcase from Bangkok to Pattaya and the same suitcase from Bangkok to Samui are not the same journey, and a single headline price for both would be wrong for one of them.

Where we do publish a fixed rate, it is because the service is fixed. Delivery inside Bangkok starts at 299 THB per piece up to 25kg, golf bags and oversized gear at 399 THB, special items at 599 THB – as of September 2026. Storage is 150 THB per piece per 24 hours at the 18 city and regional branches, and 100 THB at the Suvarnabhumi and Don Mueang counters only.

How a booking runs

  1. Book before you need it. Reserve online at app.airportels.asia as soon as your travel dates are fixed. The route, the size and the confirmed window are all settled at this point.
  2. Tell us both ends. A hotel name, a branch, or an airport counter, at each end. If a hotel is holding the bag for you, tell the front desk we are coming.
  3. Hand it over. We collect at the agreed point. You do not need to go anywhere to send it.
  4. Follow it. Tracking runs through the booking, so the bag is not a leap of faith while it crosses the country.
  5. Collect at the other end. The bag is waiting at the destination you named, insured to 50,000 THB per booking the whole way.

When this is the right call, and when it is not

Send the bag ahead when you are flying domestically on a fare with no hold allowance, taking an overnight bus or train, moving between provinces mid-trip, or carrying more than you can walk with for an hour.
Carry it yourself when you need the contents the same day, the trip is short enough that the bag never leaves the vehicle, or your fare already includes hold baggage you have paid for.

The honest version: if your airline already includes a checked bag and you are flying straight to the hotel, use it. Intercity forwarding earns its place when the bag and you want different itineraries.

Common questions about sending luggage between provinces

How long does nationwide luggage delivery take in Thailand?

Within 5 days anywhere in Thailand. Main routes between Bangkok and Chiang Mai, Phuket, Pattaya, Hua Hin or Samui run faster, and the exact window for your route and dates is confirmed at booking.

How much does it cost to send luggage to another province?

It is quoted at booking, by route and size. A fixed headline price would be wrong for one of any two routes, so the quote is given when you book. Delivery inside Bangkok is fixed and published: from 299 THB per piece up to 25kg, as of September 2026.

Where can you collect and deliver the bag?

Hotels, our branches, and the two Bangkok airport counters. Suvarnabhumi is on B floor in the Airport Rail Link zone and Don Mueang is at Terminal 2 by Gate 9, both open 24 hours. There are 20 staffed branches across Thailand as of September 2026.

Is the luggage insured while it travels between provinces?

Yes, to 50,000 THB per booking. Cover runs for the whole journey, and tracking through the booking shows where the bag is while it is out of your hands.

How this page was checked: service scope, routes and the 5-day window are taken from our own published service pages and confirmed against the booking flow. Prices quoted here are the fixed Bangkok rates and the storage rates verified across all 20 branch pages. No intercity rate is stated, because intercity pricing is quoted per booking.
